This period home in Wimbledon has been renovated in several stages since 2019. The owner, a busy lawyer, first wanted to refurbish the Kitchen Diner located in the conservatory. It needed to work well with the conservatory structure and not compete heavily with the garden views. A colour palette of pale, warm neutrals allows copious light to work to its best advantage.  Meanwhile, modern kitchen cabinetry has understated impact, with the expanse of stone worktop being the major, contemporary flourish.

The family bathroom called for an update next. Being compact, some smart solutions were required to maximise space. Read more here. We elevated the room with beautiful, stone tiles in unexpected patterns as well as classic modern brassware with sharp details.

More recently, we refurbished the first floor bedrooms. In both rooms, possibilities were opened up by re-thinking the chimney breast and alcove walls. The Master Bedroom was treated to built-in storage, while the bed became the focal point. The client’s “tweenage” daughter needed her room to fulfil several functions, so space planning was paramount. Dynamic use of colour, vibrant pattern, and trendy detailing completed the picture.
