Working in partnership with furniture design colleagues, we design and supply fine, made-to-measure furniture solutions.
Procurement
From chandeliers to taps, and from headboards to rugs, we work with an exhaustive list of suppliers to procure the right products for the design scheme, always remaining transparent about charging structures.
Project Coordination
We collaborate with our recommended contractors or with the client’s own chosen tradespeople to ensure the faithful implementation of the design.
A Taste of the Design Process
Consultation and Proposal
Each project begins with a consultation on site, during which information about the project and the needs of the client are gleaned. Following this initial meeting, the client is presented with a bespoke proposal.
Discovery
Once commissioned, the brief for the project is fully explored, with everything from practical and aesthetic preferences to budget and timeframe taken in to consideration. Great care is taken in surveying the property and discovering the client’s lifestyle, tastes, values, and aspirations.
Design
The design phase begins with interpretation of the brief to produce a design concept. This is discussed in detail before moving on to develop the full design. At the end of the development process, the client is presented with comprehensive drawings and schemes, detailing every aspect of the design. Once agreed, the contractor tender process can begin.
On Site
During the construction phase, communication with the building contractor and other professionals involved is maintained for the smooth running of the project. Regular site visits are undertaken to ensure the design is faithfully implemented and issues resolved, keeping the client informed every step of the way.
Dressing
After a full site clean, the installation of carpets and window treatments is closely followed by the delivery and placement of furniture as well as the installation of art and accessories.
After Care and Ongoing Relationship
At the end of the project, we maintain close communication with the client to ensure a smooth adjustment period and resolution of any outstanding matters. Thereafter, we remain on hand to discuss how the design of the client’s home can evolve to meet changing needs.
